Susan Higginbotham, granddaughter of Molly Wheadon (noted chicken fryer and hotelier of The Virginia House in early 1900s) came by the museum looking for information on her family. She had this photo, which I am sharing with you and hope that it can make it into the Bluemont Archives. She joined Bluemont Heritage to get the blue book, and I sent her a few articles about her family. Also had some people in that excitedly found family members in the school photos. Always fun to see people finding connections here! - L. |
